At the PEC Board meeting on May 19th a presentation was given by a representative from Navigant on their Board Compensation study. Details of the study are available on the PEC website, and there is a comment period open until June 3. Though the way the data is presented tends to lead you to believe that the compensation is not that far out of line, those who examine the raw data themselves may not agree with the comparisons made (for-profit utility companies, “normalized” data based on some questionable assumptions). A rough draft of comments is available. We expect to have some detailed comments available shortly.
