Get Ready for the 2008 PEC Board Elections!

We've changed things on this page around a bit... We've created a new Candidates Forum, where YOU can ask your candidates questions too!

We've also included all the answers to the PEC4U Candidate Questionaire to date in the forum, and are asking those candidates who have not yet answered the questionaire to do so there.

Just click on the appropriate folder to see all the responses to date. You'll need to register and confirm your registration by email in order to post your questions.

PEC has opened up the elections and gotten rid of the Nominating Committee. Now candidates simply need to collect 25 signatures and meet the requirements, as listed in the official PEC Board Nomination Packet. The nomination packet must be received at the Johnson City PEC offices by April 7th, 2008, to be considered valid.

To see which Board seats will be up for re-election in which year one PEC4U member put together this list showing term expirations.

See the map of PEC Board District Boundaries (it's also included as part of the nomination packet) to determine which district you are in - or call PEC and ask specifically about Board Districts. Note that Board districts are not the same as Service districts, so to be completely clear you may wish to ask for both. PEC4U feels that this information can and should be included on your bills in the near future.

Additional Entries (these seats are not up for election, but the following people are interested in taking over should sitting Board members resign or be forced out):
