[Watchdogs] Kickbacks

I have been a member of the PEC Coop. for 20 years. and have enjoyed good
service.  The people who provide the actual day to day service are doing a 
good job and should not be grouped with the board.  The board, however, should
be held accountable for their misdeeds.  After the Texland revelations I would not
put anything past them.  I think we should insist on a full audit of the last five years
of PEC's accounts.   This should include an audit of their major suppliers, contractors, 
and consultants books.  We need to know if there was any kickbacks from these
people to any of the board members.  Accepting the judges settlement is, in my 
opinion, not in the best interests of the members.  I fear that we have only scratched
the surface of the problems at PEC.
