[Watchdogs] Election discussions, etc

Hi all,

In an effort to keep focus of this Watchdogs discussion list clear of 
"electioneeriing" I'd like to ask as we did last year that candidates 
for the Board (and their advocates/detractors) direct the majority of 
their campaigning to the web forum which has been set up for that 
purpose at <http://pec4u.org/candforum09/>.

Candidates are certainly welcome to take part in discussions here.  A 
single post mentioning their candidacy is also fine, and you can 
certainly mention that you're running if you're speaking here on some 
other topic.  But let's keep the vote counts and championing 
of/attacks on individual candidates in the Forum, and keep the focus 
here on the issues at hand.

We should know in a week or so who has filed to run and on the 20th 
we'll get the official word from PEC as to who is on the ballot.  If 
you know someone is running, you're welcome to post about them in the 
Candidates Forum.
