James/Kathy:  I could not attend the Director's Special Meeting of April 6,
2009.

 

I watched the Videos of all the meeting.  I am struck by you two elected
Directors voting for this Swinford HB 3820.  I never thought that you two
would go against Patrick and side with those non-elected directors- left
over from the era of The Fuelburg Electric Co-op Inc.

 

Specifically:  SECTION 2, (g), A member of the electric cooperative is
entitled to attend a regular or special board meeting for the duration of
the period specified in the meeting notice for member comments and to have a
reasonable opportunity to comment on any matter on the meeting agenda or
related cooperative business.

 

Now, I ask you, James and Kathy, are you sure that you studied over this HB
3820 and know what you are trying to do?  You got me traveling over a
distance to come to a board meeting and I am to be admitted only during the
brief period of comments...but only on matters on the agenda.  What then,
the Sheriff eases us out the door?

 

Has it occurred to you that anything that these un-elected four wants will
not be good for the owners of this Co-op?  And there you two are- cheek to
jowl with those four.  You only want to admit members.....no reporters?

 

You two are trying to rob us of almost every bit of control that we have
gained since our first Board Meeting of Jan, of 2008.  What?  You two want
to go back to the Fuelburg days of being only admitted to the phony-baloney
Annual meeting..but not allowed to speak nor vote?

 

Let us hear from you two, just what you are up to and how you hope to get
it. The un-elected four do not represent us.  Do you represent us?  Just in
case you may wonder how I stand, HB 3820 stinks of lobbyists and foul
government.
