You're right about the targeting. These ads (no cheap in the Austin market) are being paid for by us and are going to City of austin customers, Bluebonnet Electric members and many others. PEC doesn't need to be on TV.

Hear! I noticed those ads myself…..and not the most targeted of media
buys either…..they are feathering the PEC PR bed across wide swaths of
central Texas.

I was reading my sunday paper yesterday about PEC
having to close down saturday payment collections on saturday (helpful for
many of us who work during the week) when my reading was interrupted by a
self- serving TV ad touting PEC . I thought this is the type of expenditure
(advertising for a monopoly) that was being eliminated. I understand the PEC
proganda department still has over a dozen employees. Why won't the new and
old regimes combine to cut this wasteful spending. We want fair rates, good
service, etc. not more propaganda.
