[Watchdogs] Still throwing our $ around

A friend of mine in  San Marcos told me he attended  the local Chamber of Commerce business expo yesterday and when he walked in the door of the exhibition hall at the city conference center there was a big PEC booth at a prime location with giveaways and all. San Marcos has its own city-owned utility and PEC serves only on the edges to the west as Bluebonnet EC does on the eastern edges.Bluebonnet did not have a booth there, he reported. Old ways die hard..
