This ERCOT Wind Energy output vs. Wind Energy Capacity for 2008 illustrates the issues I raised in my rebuttal:

Referring the ERCOT Wind plot, note that the installed Capacity 8000+ for 2008 far exceeds the Wind output, so do we adjust the price on all Wind Installation to raise the $'s per KW??.

And how do we respond to new Federal mandates ? Do address Capacity by nameplate rating or actual energy output??

So you can see, its not a simple issue like some believe.
