Dear Tim: Thanks for locating the lodge for me. At least it was in Texas. Fuelburg Jr. preferred to use the Santa Fe, NM area for his trips with his family.

Tim, most important is that the accounting system of PEC seems to be no better, improved since the hey-days of Bennie Fuelburg Jr. A mis-charge of this size is no mistake. They want to fool us.

Misplacing $65,396.10 would get you fired in most legitimate companies. That figure probably does not reflect the true cost. Most accounting systems would include the Limosene transport, office overhead, the cost of the time of the employees, etc.

There is no doubt that the general level of technical training has been totally neglected for many years and now, PEC knows that they have a lot of catching-up to do. OK, use the super costly training center provided for this purpose. Get those men the training they need to catch up. The Owners understand all this. No more kidding us around.

Actually Paul, the Canyon of the Eagles is on Lake Buchanan. It's up on the most Northern edge just before you head up the Colorado River....hence the Eagle moniker. It's not exactly
posh, but it's fairly nice. I'm not sure how you ring up that kind of tab, unless you are trying pretty hard. I'm curious how many people attended, for how many nights and how many
catered meals and drinks. Sounds like they rented the whole place out for that kind of money.

Dear Milton: You asked an interesting question to Juan Garza about why the trip, apparantly a training session for PEC employees, to Canyon of the Eagles, about
$65,000 was posted in the accounting section, 820, as A&G-OFFICE SUPPLIES

This was at the regular Board Meeting of June 15. I did not understand Juan's explanation and I wondered if you heard it plainly enough to explain it to me.

$70,000 of pads and pencils means that the boys took lots of notes? Where is Canyon of the Eagles, is in Texas? is is in the PEC territory? Could this be like those famous "Director's Retreats", back in 2007, where the boys all got in the limos, went down to a five-star hotel, in San Antonio , "Retreated & had tea and crumpets? I would bet you that those "Director's Retreats" were posted as office supplies, as well. (Navigant Report)

You can find this $65,396.10, on PP-3 of the "Invoices over $10,000, April 2009
