There is no "membership" in PEC4u. It's not a membership
organization, other than being for those who are PEC members having a
strong voice in how the electrical coop we own is run.
There are eight or ten members of the Steering Committee who are
actively involved. All are among the initial group who pushed hard
enough for change several years ago that we actually got some
changes, like democratic elections. The half dozen or so of us who
made the endorsement on behalf of the Committee are listed in the
press release (see the website).
The only other endorsements by any organization that I'm aware of
have been for the same trio.
In my opinion, you should certainly have a look at all the candidates
and make your own choice based on what you see. Endorsements are
basically cheat sheets for those who aren't willing or able to figure
out who to vote for themselves - they allow you to base your decision
on what other folks you trust have to say, rather than doing the foot
work of untangling issues, motives, and all that.
I hope that you're planning to attend the meeting, as that's the only
