Dear Ernest: Let's not bug the candidates. Running for an office is a full time job and we should all give them as much help and sympathy as we can.
I am sure that we would all do the same for you.
Best Regards, Paul Langston

Ms. Rogers--
"Responsible" candidates, I thought were at least supposed to try to answer or respond to questions and comments from co-op owner-members.
We are looking forward to hearing from you (and the other cndidates) as to their detailed views, plans, and proposed changes for the co-op--in the event they become elected as directors.
Incidently, from your response to my e-mail (below), I must assume that you do not agree with owner-member Merle Moden's statement (regarding open records) --that I quoted in my e-mail to you--and asked you about.?
Ernest

Mr. Altgelt, you are mistaken. I suggested that there were legal fees and that I would like to know what they were. I did not make a direct request for that information. It is precisley this type of "twisting" that has lead me to the decision to not enter into discussions with you. Your public announcment that I had been "stonewalled" by PEC was simply untrue. You have, and had, no way of knowing my communications with PEC. At no time have I given you permission, to represent me or speak on my behalf. I am perfectlycapable of speaking for myself. Furthermore, I will make my own decisions regarding what information I will formally request and how I will choose to utilize or share that information. I am currently just another member, and under no obligation to respond to you----at all. At such time I should become a member of the board, I will follow the by-laws and policies of the co-op, regarding these matters. Thank you Linda Kaye Rogers

Linda--
At the recent May 11, 2009 PEC Co-op Board Meeting, I believe you erroneously suggested that you had not previously asked the PEC Co-op Board, Senior Management, and others--for information concerning the co-op's 2008 Legal Fees and Costs.
I feel your were mistaken (or misleading) in your response to me at the May 11th Board Meeting concerning the co-op's 2008 Legal Fees and costs. At that May 11. 2009 meeting, you will recall that I had briefly mentioned in my comments to the Board and owner-members who were present, the circumstances as to the co-op's ongoing failure to provide this important cost information to the co-op owner-members. You may wish to refer to the PEC Video (Member Comments) when that meeting video becomes available
Set forth below are excerpts from your April 23, 2009 E-mail-- that was widely distributed to the Watchdogs, Joe Summy, the co-op, and many others. Note: what you state in your e-mail--and what was discussed on April 20th.
If you have received the subject information from the Co-op as to its 2008 legal fees and costs, would you please promptly e-mail such information to me.
If you have not received this information, please consider notifying General Mgr. Garza , Board President Felps, and General Counsel Luis Garcia that you have not received this information. If possible please ask hat they cause it be promptly furnished to the co-op's owner-members (no later than prior to or at the May 18, 2009 Board Meeting). I believe my request to the co-op for this 2008 Legal Fees information date back to Feb. 2009.
Please contact me if you have any questions or have any additional information for me.
Note I am furnishing copies of this e-mail to the co-op's General Mgr. Juan Garza and to owner-member Merle Moden . Mr. Moden recently advised the PEC Directors that-- "I continue to be disappointed in the failure of PEC Management and Board of Directors to live by the Open Records Policy established by this Board" I agree with Mr. Moden, Do You?
I look forward to hearing from you, and for your help as to 2008 Co-op legal costs and expenses.
