[Watchdogs] Some thoughts about...

As I said to Milton at the most recent board meeting, it appears that we are finally reading the same book and are even on the same page!  Milton, you have indeed outlined the state of affairs of our PEC Board.  And you have outlined a course of action that makes perfect sense.  And Carlos, you have jumped in with insightful comments and suggestions.  I was late to this last meeting, but had prepared to make similar comments regarding the Reform 4's notion of revising all the by-laws at once.....makes no sense at all.  It has ceratinly made me more suspicious and distrusting of those four elected directors.  The single member district voting issue is not new, and there has been plenty of member input.  I believe that it is going to be very hard to justify anyting other than what was promised.  To do otherwise can only be seen as self-serving----NOT member serving.  So, we must all remain alert and ready-to-the-hand to get members to act---speak up.  Otherwise, I'm sorry, but I see very little difference in the accusations made of the old board and  how four elected directors are now acting.

I have another bit of information that watchdogs may find of interest, but will have to share it a bit later.  Meanwhile----HOORAY for common sense!!   Linda Kaye
