Dear Jim:  complaining to the Watchdogs is a waste of everyone's time.  I sent your note on to renee.oelschleger who is the secretary of the Board of Directors of PEC.
I request that Renee send copies of your letter to all of the Directors.

The Watchdogs are sick of the deliberate waste of our money.  The advertising dept. spends $66,000 on the pages in that little magazine, Texas Coop, each month as an example of wasted money.  I understand that the Advertising wastes more than a $million each year.

We can only view the advertising and the advertising Department as just a pace to place a bunch of surplus employees so as to more or less pretend that they are busy. BUSY producing "Baloney" and useless tips on saving power.  ( Hey fellow, put $6,000 dollars of insulation in your attic and save $30 on your monthly bill!!!)

So send your complaints to the top, the Directors,  but do not hold your breath until you get a meaningful answer.   Hey, you can come to the monthly meeting, third Monday of each month.  You are invited to speak for three minutes., on one subject,  You can lay in on them.  They will thank you but they will not answer or comment  on your question or complaint.   This leadership is faithfully hueing to the old Fuelburg line of action and the Member-Owners can vote them out next year...or just be quiet.

  While watching the news on channel 36 last night up popped a PEC commercial !!!

  I'd like to see ANY justification for this expense.  Further, I'd estimate at least 75% of the homes recieving this program aren't even in the PEC markets!

  Can't we find a better way to waste money?
