Subject: More payments to Texas Electric Coop, why?
Dear Lana: Looking at the Agenda for the Board Meeting of Monday, Feb. 21, 2011, I see much activity in the list of +10,000 Dollar Invoices to Texas Electric Coop.
I wonder, at times do they own us?
Packet Page 182, Object 131, Pay to TEC Utility & Service
$346,622.00.
Packet Page 183, Object 454, Materials Inventory-stocked,
TEC Utility $337,789.30.
Page 183, Object 454, Materials Inventory-stocked
Texas Electrical Cooperatives in, $113,294.60.
Lana, that is about $797,705, more than you buy from any other provider. Can I have some assurance that these supplies are being bought on a BID-Basis ?
I know it is not smart to only have only one provider of your basic Capital Investments.
